HS Choral Groups Receieve Division One Ratings at State

Brandon High School students participated in the MSVMA STATE Choral Festival on May 2nd. The three choral groups of Madrigals, All Men, and Show Choir participated in the state level adjudicated event held at Rochester High School. All three groups had received Division One ratings at District Choral Festival which qualified them to compete at the state level. On May 2nd all three groups received Division One ratings at the State Choral Festival.

Brandon High School students are directed by Dr. Deborah Wolfe-Sebetic and accompanied by Joy Tahaney.

Important Dates for Seniors

May 22           Senior Honors Convocation – 7:00p.m. High School PAC** Date change**

May 25            Distribution of caps and gowns will be on Friday, May 25, 2012. However, we ask that students do not wear their gowns on Friday.

Seniors who have outstanding fines will not be allowed to pick up their cap & gown until fines have been paid.

May 29         Senior Exam: (6^th ) Hours 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (full day)

May 30         Senior Exams: (4^th & 5^th) Hours 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (full day)

May 31         Senior Exams: (1^st, 2^nd, & 3^rd ) Hours 1, 2, 3, (half day)

June 1           Cap & gown day- All students must wear their cap & gown for the senior march and graduation rehearsal.

7:45 a.m. Senior Breakfast – High School Cafeteria

8:30 a.m. - Graduation Practice is mandatory for all seniors in the High School Gym; you will NOT participate in graduation if you are not at practice. 9:30-9:45 a.m. (approx.) - Senior Walk

June 1-2         Senior Lock-In - all night activities at Genesys Athletic Club - 10:30p.m. -5:00a.m.

June 10          Graduation at Meadowbrook Pavilion, Rochester -    2:00 p.m.

Gates will open at 1:00 p.m. Graduates are to arrive by 1:15 p.m. and will meet at Trumbull Terrace.
