The difference between our existing classrooms and the academy is the instructional delivery method. The curriculum will be the same as the rest of the district but the classrooms will look a little different. The academy will be grades pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The students will be in multi-level classrooms. One classroom may be third and fourth grade, another will have seventh and eighth grade in the same room. Because of the blending of grade levels, the number of students in each classroom will be lower than in the other elementary buildings.
Our district strives to meet the needs of all students. Along with the Brandon Virtual School and the Brandon STEM Academy, the Brandon Academy of Arts and Sciences brings new options for students. We are very excited to welcome our latest partner in quality education.
For enrollment information, please contact Marilyn Campbell, Director, at 989-239-8080 or the Brandon School District Enrollment Office at 248-627-1866.
