The School-age Childcare Program, ages 5 to 12 years, provide a safe, positive environment for children before and after the regular or Kindergarten school day and during the summer. Age appropriate activities, free play and relaxation time are provided daily. This program is licensed by the State of Michigan.
Location
The program is located in the H. T. Burt Elementary building at 209 Varsity Drive in Ortonville, MI. This location services the entire Brandon School District providing a central drop off/pick up location for parents and students. Students have easy access to both Harvey-Swanson and HT Burt. Students attending Belle Ann Elementary or Oakwood Elementary may take the Shuttle Bus at the beginning and close of each day.

Will my child like day care?
The Brandon School District’s Childcare program strives to meet each child’s emotional, intellectual, and physical needs through a variety of creative indoor and outdoor experiences. The children can have fun in a play-based, free choice atmosphere which allows for the use of computers, games, puzzles, books, records, imaginary play, study space, group time and craft activities.

Prices
The Child Care programs are totally self-supported through parent fees.
Fees Include:
- registration fee which includes a snack fee that is paid yearly.
- the tuition fee paid weekly, daily or by the hour.
Requirements
Physical exams and up-to-date immunization records required.

No child will be denied admission because of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, or National Origin. The staff will make every effort to help all children to adjust to the program, but reserve the right to remove a child who fails to adjust.
