BHS Students Selected for Honors Choir

Brandon High School students recently auditioned for the MSVMA Region C Honors Choir. Auditions were submitted electronically from all over the state. The following students were accepted from Brandon High School: James McArthur, Danielle Leidy, Stephanie Martin, and Jordan Parker. These students will perform for the MSVMA Regional Honors Choir Program on December 6th at South Lyon High School. Brandon High School students are directed by Dr. Deborah Wolfe-Sebetic.

BHS Marching Band to Host Competition

This Saturday, the Brandon High School marching band is pleased to host the 4th annual Brandon Marching Band Competition. The Brandon band will perform its Pirates routine, and the competition will feature schools like Davison, Bad Axe, Woodhaven and eleven other bands from Michigan. The event runs from 10:15 am to 3:00 pm. Brandon is scheduled to perform at 2:15 pm.

Robotics Team Creates "Haunted Lodge"

The Brandon High School robotics team, Truck Town Thunder, has partnered with Campfire USA to create a creepy "Haunted Lodge." Proceeds from the haunted lodge will be used to send children of military servicemen and women to Camp Wathana.

The Haunted Lodge will be open every Friday and Saturday from 7:00 -10:00 PM until October 31, 2014 and is located at 9750 Milford Road, Holly, MI. The Lodge is fun for all ages. The cost for kids under 12 is just $5.00 and the cost for adults is just $7.00. However, print the attached coupon and save $1.00 off your admission!

Brandon Schools K-12 Art Show

Brandon students annually turn out some of the best artwork in Oakland County. Here is your chance to see a lot of it all in one place as the Brandon Schools K-12 Art Show is October 23rd, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, at Oakland Schools (2111 Pontiac Lake Rd., Waterford Township, Mi 48328). Admission is free and light refreshments will be served.
