Dear Blackhawk Community,
As a reminder, the Brandon Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, February 21st at 6:30 p.m. to interview Carly Stone for the Superintendent position. The meeting will be held in the Central Office Board Room and available via Zoom. A recording of the meeting will be posted on the district website under the latest news section the following day. John Silveri, Michigan Leadership Institute, will lead the interview.
In addition, after consideration of the feedback we have received, the Brandon Board of Education will also hold a follow-up special meeting on Friday, February 24th at 6:30 p.m. We will reconvene for a final decision in the Central Office Board Room. The meeting will also be available via Zoom. A recording of the meeting will be posted on the district website under the latest news section the following day.
Lastly, the Board of Education encourages everyone to submit feedback/comments regarding Carly Stone. The link was included in a communication previously sent to Blackhawk families and staff. It was brought to our attention that the feedback/comments link was available for only a short period of time. Your voice and opinion can and will be heard by completing the form. We have extended the deadline, and the link will remain open for feedback/comments through Thursday, February 23rd at 6:30 p.m. Below you will find the link to the feedback/comments form and Zoom links for the meetings:
