Oakwood Water Update

Dear Oakwood Families, I want to update you on the water situation at school. The preliminary testing that was completed showed that the water is safe for our students. Students are able to use the water for hand washing. To err on the side of extreme caution, central office staff and I have decided to continue using water jugs filled from another district water source for the remainder of this week for drinking. By the end of this week, the more comprehensive tests will be complete, and we expect to resume regular use of the water. You can send in a water bottle with your child that they can refill during the school day from the water we provide, or we have disposable cups for all kids to use as needed.
