Hello Oakwood families! Here is some information you’ll need to know about these last two days of school. 1. Both today and tomorrow, June 17 & 18, are half-days of school. Dismissal will be at 12:00 p.m. both days. 2. On June 18th the fifth-grade end-of-the-year ceremony will begin at 11:00 following their farewell party. 3. Starting at 11:35 a.m. on June 18th all parents, staff, and younger students will line the halls to clap out our 5th graders. The clap out will start promptly at 11:40 a.m. 4. We have medications in the office that will be thrown out on Friday, June 21 if they are not picked up by a parent. We are not able to send medications home with children. Please make arrangements for an adult to pick up any meds that are at school. 5. Lost and found items that are not picked up are donated if they are not claimed. Any items left here will be donated to a local charitable organization on Friday, June 21. Please come and check out the lost and found racks sometime this week. The final Oakwood newsletter will go out tomorrow to wrap up the school year and to make you aware of some upcoming dates you’ll want to add to your calendars.
