Oakwood Update

Hello and happy first day of Summer to you! The Oakwood office wishes you a wonderful, relaxing break full of fun and lazy days. We want to leave you with a few bits of information about the 2018-19 school year and request that you take a few minutes to respond to a quick survey about your experiences at Oakwood during this past school year. If Latchkey was something you missed at Oakwood during the 17-18 school year, you’ll want to make sure to respond, since we are collecting your feedback to determine whether or not it is at all feasible to house latchkey on site here at OE. The OE office will be open until June 29th. Our summer office hours are 8:00-3:30. Please call before you come in, as sometimes we step out for various reasons. We want to make sure we are here when you come. The office is closed all of July and reopens August 6th. The 4th Annual Oakwood Summer Family Picnic is August 14th from 5:30-7:30. Please plan to join us on the OE playground to meet your new teacher in a fun, festive way. Back to School Night is Thursday, August 30th, 5:30-7:30. Class supply lists will be posted on our website for each grade level for those of you who like to take advantage of summer school supply sales. Please use this link to respond to the survey referenced above. See the Brandon Schools Summer Learning flyer below once again. It’s not too late to register for some cool classes and camps. If you need financial support, call the OE office and we may be able to connect you with a scholarship through Brandon Groveland Youth Assistance (BGYA). Our entire staff would like to thank all of our Oakwood families for an amazing year. Enjoy your time with your children and we look forward to having them back in September.
