Mr. Brennan is super excited to work in the Brandon community! Prior to joining Brandon High School, he worked with the counseling departments at Clarkston High School and Avondale High School. Before that, Mr. Brennan was an Admissions Adviser for Oakland University, so he knows all about the college admissions process!

Mr. Brennan served in the U.S. Army for six years from 2002-2008. He deployed twice to Iraq and lived in many places throughout the United States and the world. He is married and has two daughters, and enjoys coaching and playing hockey in his free time.

Mr. Brennan received a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Oakland University, and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Oakland University. He is a licensed school counselor as well as a limited licensed practicing counselor (LLPC).

Mrs. Dietiker joined the Counseling Department at BHS in October 2020 and she is thrilled to be a high school counselor again!  She was most recently a K-8 counselor at Oxford Virtual Academy.  Prior to that, Mrs. Dietiker spent eight years as a high school counselor and six years as a middle school counselor in the Berkley School District. She's also worked as a college counselor at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and the Royal Oak and Southfield campuses of Oakland Community College. College planning and career development are two of her passions, along with helping to ensure the social-emotional wellbeing of her students.
Mrs. Dietiker lives in Oxford with her husband, teenage stepson, and their cat named Tunes.  She enjoys reading, spending time with family, and doing projects around the house. 
Mrs. Dietiker earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Masters in Counseling with a Specialization in School Counseling from Oakland University. In addition to her school counseling license, Mrs. Dietiker is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC.)
