Mr. Belluomo is ecstatic to be a part of the Brandon team as a school counselor! A lot of Mr. Belluomo’s experience has been working within the Clinical Mental Health field, as well as School Counseling. Previous to joining the Brandon team he was enrolled at Oakland University where he obtained a dual Master’s in Clinical Mental Health, as well as School Counseling. During his time attending Oakland University, he also worked at McLaren Macomb Hospital. He currently resides in Macomb. He likes to spend most of his free time with friends, family, and loved ones. He enjoys writing fantasy novels, taking care of his pets, and taking his fiance out for dinner. Mr. Belluomo received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology at Arizona State University. He has a School Counseling License (SCL) and is currently in the process of receiving his LLPC (Limited Licensed Professional Counselor).

Mrs. Dietiker joined the Counseling Department at BHS in October 2020 and she is thrilled to be a high school counselor again!  She was most recently a K-8 counselor at Oxford Virtual Academy.  Prior to that, Mrs. Dietiker spent eight years as a high school counselor and six years as a middle school counselor in the Berkley School District. She's also worked as a college counselor at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and the Royal Oak and Southfield campuses of Oakland Community College. College planning and career development are two of her passions, along with helping to ensure the social-emotional wellbeing of her students.
 
Mrs. Dietiker lives in Oxford with her husband, teenage stepson, and their cat named Tunes.  She enjoys reading, spending time with family, and doing projects around the house. 
 
Mrs. Dietiker earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Masters in Counseling with a Specialization in School Counseling from Oakland University. In addition to her school counseling license, Mrs. Dietiker is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC.)

Mrs. Popilek joined the Counseling Department in August 2021 and is excited to support students in a variety of different programs here at BHS. Much of Mrs. Popilek's professional time has been spent working with students that are at-risk or have special circumstances.
 
She was previously an elementary school counselor and behavior interventionist in the Pontiac School District for 6 years. Before becoming a school counselor, Mrs. Popilek worked with preschool students in an early intervention Autism Center, and as an intern with the Oakland County Circuit Court Juvenile Probation Department.
 
Mrs. Popilek lives in Royal Oak with her husband and two sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, spending time in nature, reading, cooking, and watching vintage TV shows.
 
Mrs. Popilek graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Counseling. She is a licensed school counselor and a limited licensed professional counselor (LLPC).
